I dont think they are RGBW related.
All the RGBW badges were either cloth or metal. Offrs mess dress collars were cloth,NCOs the same as for No2s.

I can see both points of view here. I had a pair of these but with a single flat lug rather than pins. Theres also a FL badge that's larger which is likely to be a belt plate badge.
