There are three generally accepted different patterns of Beacon Lighter in the middle of the badge, although not all appear on KC badges....

Unknown Button Back Mark - London and ????

I have just added several small Royal Observer Corps officers buttons to my collection, but cannot for the life of me read the back mark, except for the word "London" - they are certainly post 1941....

Top left is a 1960's UK Boy Scout Berkshire county badge, bottom right is a UK Boy Scouts Patrol badge from the 1980's (ish) - I cannot recall which at this point in time
