Colour Patches material used ??

Hi all
has any one got this type of colour patch in there collection ( woven cotton grosgrain ribbon ) as I have never seen or heard of this type of material used .

Thanks for finding this piece as I looked but could not find anything, this badge pictured is one type an the other photo is the lapel enamelled badge . So i would imagine both are very scarce types...

The WW1 ballot badges silver & brass ?

Has any one here have both and if so can you show a photo of front and back and is the silver badge for female and the other brass type for men?? And how hard are they to find??
