Scottish Officer SNCO badges are very varied and it doesn't look Bazaar made, the lugs are of a type I have on a Seaforth.

The first letter appears to be S the second looks more like an 8, but I can find no matches for any combination starting S, strange for quite a modern mark

The base is silver gilded on the attached parts on mine the gilding is now very thin but visible to the eye the badge you have posted looks to have a little still on the crown

I have the same badge in my HLI officer album except it is not stamped silver the crown monogram and elephant are silver/gilt but difficult to pick the gilt up in a picture
