I thought so frm the picture you posted.

FYI, the buckle should be on the left side of the hat when worn with the end of the belt that goes through the buckle pointing to the back.

Bill is right this patch came out in the 80's.

It is not the current one. The current one is similar but the word police is under the crest making the patch a little bigger.
