I had a look at various dealer sites and an identification of this as Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry seems correct with E-W lugs and Gaunt tablet.

The seller of the Ox & Bucks badge said it might be chrome or silver plated, time will tell perhaps if it starts to tarnish. I am happy either way, though...

A very pleasing badge, 1898-1958 pattern for OR's in W/metal, but worn by officers plated or in silver from 1915 onward according to the light bobs site.
