In 1936 they switched from a large lyre to a smaller one, but this is a lot of trouble when usually they kept wearing the old pattern until new pattern issued.

Nice collection, yes I think all of these were worn by Marines, the RMP red on blue is interesting and I suspect doesn't stand for the obvious unless it is very early, but it looks WW2 to me....

RMP badges as you know where white metal but RM provost cap badges just don't exist - RM provosts wore wristlets and armbands. I had thought that these were in the book...
