HMS HOOD CAP TALLY

These are rather poor photos of an original cap tally from the a CPO who was on the pre war Hms Hood world cruise. I hope its useful .the tally is high quality metal thread.

A few years back a complete set of uniform removed SAARF badges came up at Clare auctions .it was too rich for me but i wonder if a group member bought it.

I certainly wouldn`t buy it. Just poor quality, today makers marks mean very little, they are faked like the badge deliberately to fool the inexperienced.
