Bosleys Sale of Plastic Garrison Badge

I see this badge sold for £700, or $1,160Cdn. Add the commission at 26.4% and that'll take the cost before P&P to £884.8 or $1,466Cdn. That's the scarcity of this badge :eek

It's not always what it is touted top be!!

I also gave this a wide berth after I saw it on the Regimental website and followed up with a good deal of on-line research. It's probably closer to a scholar's badge that would normally be worn on...

MYSTERY SOLVED

It would appear that this shoulder title is Boer War and stands for the Maritzburg Rifle Association "D" Company. Thank you "ResearchRescue" on the 'Anglo Boer War' website for this information :D.
