I got this badge a little while ago in a trade. I'm very happy with it. It's maker marked Rosenthal Toronto.

I hope this fits in this thread. Heres a badge that started out as a Birks 1915 marked general list cap badge with lugs and ended up as a pin back 157th interum badge.

Thanks for the info. The ends of the webbing on the belt do not have any of the brass yours shows. So this could be simply a length of webbing with the leather straps and buckles added later.
