Mystery Canadian Badge by Birks-Ellis

Hello all,

This badge was included in a sizable lot of militaria and despite considerable searching online, and in my reference library, I'm completely stumped.

It's about collar badge size,...

Badge Maker/Retailer: Wilson & Sharp Ltd

Hello all,

In going through my badges I've noticed one (Black Watch Officer/SNCO) that is nicely made and has a small tablet on the back which reads: "Wilson & Sharp Edinburgh". I haven't been...

Roy,

Happy to "help". I've seen a few different patterns of Imperial badges come with CEF stuff, from deluxe solid silver to an "el-cheapo" (but very interesting) single piece badge that was...

What are these? Strange shoulder titles.

Hello all,

These came with some WWI items, but I've been unable to positively ID them. I'm not that well versed in cloth. I can't find a match to WWII titles, and WWI cloth seems to be limited...

Bill,

I can't say I've ever seen this practice with any Black Watch of Canada epaulets.

I agree with Greg that this would be a Brooker 105-11-60 type officer's badge. Very nice to see, these don't show up very frequently.

Also, I am away from my references but pretty sure that the...
