I think it is still realistic to collect original examples, but, to actually collect them all is now time consuming and certainly expensive, to complete a collection would be very hard indeed these...

Interestingly, it has that mark to it's reverse, I would have thought the badge was die cast, if so, the mark, if embossed, would have been stamped into the die.

I missed this thread in 2015, but, I have seen several of these badges before, in my opinion, you have certainly been "duped" if it was sold to you as an original badge, the regiment never worn those.
