I don’t know the provenance of this beret but there a number of questions, Kangol making raiding forces berets is not impossible but never heard of it sas berets at least were locally...

I donít think Kangol made any ww2 SAS sand berets so possibly these berets were not dyed sand SAS berets but...

This is a ww2 orginal one as worn by French when they switched to maroon beret end 1944. Ww2 Belgian SAS wore the same type.
