I bought this little badge this morning thinking it was an East Yorkshire Regt collar badge, when I looked at Churchill's book it showed a similar badge in bi-metal which was credited as an arm badge...

I have an Irish Guards on my spares board with a similar colour to the one in the first post, I have it as other ranks that has developed a lovely patina over the years.

Essex Yeomanry

Question Lancer badge

Luke, many thanks for the reply, of course the badge is modern and may well be an original, but your take on the seller has given me food for thought.
