Sealed Patterns are held in the NAM - though IWM have a few.
However, if you need Pattern Numbers at TNA in the Ministry of Supplies for 2nd WW details, dates etc.

The King's Regt awarded the contract for Hobsons for their badges (I assume buttons too). Certainly 1880s and 1908.

Your Liverpool Scottish badge is in two pieces - which indicates War Office Pattern 603/1915. (though appeared in 1908 - "authorised" in 1915).


The one piece badge indicates - War Office...
