Found a photo of another Australian Red Cross member who was also awarded the OBE in 1918 and is wearing a similar ribbon.

Exclamation Haig's "other" fundraising .

During WW1 Earl Haig was also involved with the "Tobacco Fund" , not correct by modern standards but I'm sure the "troops" appreciated his efforts ! :D

I would have assumed that they would have stopped using the "sword x make" trademark after they became Buttons Ltd. in 1907. :confused:

The Sword X Make brand was used by Thomas Carlye before the company was almalgamated with two other Birmingham companies to become Buttons Ltd. in 1907.
