You may well be right as earlier stuff is not my forte. I know "prisons" became "Provost" but do not know dates. Colin Carnall wrote a book on the RMP the information is in there ...

Full view of inside and of peak. I'm guessing late 60's or early 70's, because of the liner and size and shape of the hat and the peak. Your thoughts?
