WRAC Officer attached to Royal Tank Regiment?

Yes, as appropriate to the unit to which WRAC personnel were attached, a collar badge (sometimes a cap badge) was worn on the left breast of the No 2 Dress Jacket (which had no pocket) up until 1992...

Excellent. They both look like a slider pocket was stitched in at the same time the beech brown backing was sewn to the beret "as issued". Does that support my theory in post 13 above?
