Unknown IV badge

Any thoughts regarding this recent acquisition? I assume it's a Roman numeral 4 rather than the initials I-V, and it's approximately 27mm wide by 18mm high. I'm aware that the 4th South African...

KRRC glengarry question

Did the King's Royal Rifle Corps have a glengarry badge made for the post 1881 period? K&K illustrate two pre-1881 types, and then seem to jump to the 1898 field service cap version. But what was...

Lincolnshire Regt cap badge question

When was the Lincolns cap badge (male Sphinx/Egypt/LINCOLNSHIRE) approved/sealed? No date is given in Kipling & King vol.1 or 2, despite a lot of other regiments' badges being dated.
