What a brilliant book, highly recommended. Much impressed with OCA badge section and lots of insignia types not usually found in Regt insignia books, most useful in that it covers more general...

Welsh but what? Gloucesters's PUC?

Many of you will have seen a mixed lot on ebay last week, sadly I didn't get them!
Asked seller for a pic of PUC reverse, but is it a PUC, also is the Welsh badge military...seems to have an odd...

Indian irregular cavalry, need advice.

I having some trouble pinning down the 5th Irregular Cavalry (Gough's Horse), some sources seem to mix them up with the 5th Bengal Native Cavalry. Or perhaps it's me who's confused.

On the epaulets an unknown button, normal Nutting buttons otherwise throughout, are the initials the coat manufacturer ?

SRR qualification badge

It is a Bayonet with an 'S', I have seen one of the final prototypes, yrs ago now though !
