Looking to identify regiment

Hi everyone

I took ownership of a large batch of photographs recently. Among them was the image I have attached to this post.

I've tried to work out which regiment they are from. I am not sure they are even British or Commonwealth to be honest, but I figured that if anyone would know it would be the learned people of this forum!

If anyone can shine a light on this image I would be very grateful.

They look WW2 British to me. The side caps went out of use mid war so anywhere between 1940-3 in all likelihood.

Cap badges could be RAMC or the REME.
