Rhodesian African Rifles, Origin of Black Ox Hair Hackle.
 

Yesterday I read through the April 1977 edition of "Nhowo", The Rhodesian African Rifles regimental magazine (it had been living in my parents loft for over 40 years).

It contained a short article on the origins of the regiments black hackle, I post an image of the text just in case it's of interest to collectors of RAR items.
