Can anyone help identify this beret badge and arm flash?
The beret badge could be ‘Thabazimbi’ but I’m not sure. Thank you. |
I would say both are South African items.

First thoughts on beret badge is Sri Lankan/Tamil Tiger connection ?
. |
No both are South African.
The beret badge is either armoured or a commando unit from of the bantustans. |
Sorry , hadn't noticed which section this was. :o
|
The ‘Thabazimbi’ unit had a enamelled shoulder flash with a side profile of a Leopard but it’s of a different design.
|
Both South African :
- the badge belongs to 121 Battalion, SA Infantry Corps - the flash belongs to the Intelligence College. |

Much appreciated Arthur.

Arthur, very much appreciated.
The ‘Swartland Commando’ flash caused some confusion as someone had written ‘‘Western Province Command Catering Corps’ on the reverse. |
Arthur is spot on with all. Regards Andrew
