Military Police Southern Command Badge

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All,

I've bought this thinking it's a Military Police Southern Command badge but when it's arrived the right hand side is black rather than dark blue.

Is this just a printers variant or is there a red and black southern command badge and if so who's?

Thanks a lot,

Michael

IWM description:BADGE, HIGHER FORMATION, SOUTHERN COMMAND (UK) - CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE (CMP)

"badge A shield divided vertically red left, black right, over all five white stars in the form of a cross."

Worth noting :

"The stars are a representation of the 'Southern Cross'. The colouring of the shield, and the stars, varied according to the arm of service of the wearer."

Brilliant, thanks Mike.

I thought it was meant to be dark blue like the corps colours.

Thanks for the help,

Michael
