Looks like a Lanarkshire RV collar to me. Believe it’s in Churchill’s book.

This badge is featured in Grebert's book (page 150) as Victorian Volunteer Rifes. He shows it facing right and I have always wondered where he got the information. Did they wear facing pairs? It is apparent that the badge was an existing collar badge bought from UK.

thanks Kingsley for your comments.
they prompted me to go look at my rifles (horn) style badges i had in my NSW pre fed collection and bloody hell i found the opposing collar.

not sure about much of Greberts work but its the best we can access at the moment.
not exactly the same but my collars are 43mm

what do you think of the other 3 badges shown. when i showed the large pouch badge to Jeff Cossum many years ago he was 100% sure it was worn by a NSW rifles rgt

anyway, thanks again

My pair of the smaller QVC badges have slight die variations on the bugle decoration. We can certainly give them the benefit of the doubt as British collar badges worn in pre-fed Victoria, and MAYBE they wore them in pairs rather than just facing right as Grebert shows them.
Do you know if Rick Grebert is still alive? I heard years ago that he had cancer.
In regard to the large bugle badge in the centre, I can't guarantee that they were definitely worn in NSW and I don't know why Jeff Cossum thought so. As you know, a large number of bugle badge variations were worn by Rifle Vols right around the empire and we don't have much documentation to be sure who wore what.
