Canadian Instructional Cadre Badge
 

I have just acquired a 1930s catalogue produced by the Woolwich military tailoring firm Shirley Brooks Ltd.

Amongst the items listed are a number of trade badges as shown on the first image, the second page of which lists for sale the Canadian Instructional Cadre Badge in Gold for 4/6d and khaki for 2/6d.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the badge looked like and who wore it?

Hello Jon, I believe this is the badge. The Instructional Cadre were nco's (not sure, but I believe senior nco's) seconded from their parent corps or regiments to conduct courses and training. It was considered an appointment.

Interesting to see that certain Prize badges were being produced still at that time and Puzzled as to why a Colour Sergeants badge is in there as I had always presumed the crossed flags and crown on scarlet wasnt worn after WW1?
