Arab Legion? Bedouin Police?
 

Gentlemen,

Am hoping for clarification on this one. Comparing it to examples identified as Arab Legion and Bedouin Desert Police, there are significant differences in the Arabic script. Thoughts?

The script is hard to read but looks like 'Alaman Alam' that roughly translates to Public Security.

The scroll reads General Security - its a police badge worn after 1956 when the police were separated from the Army.
