13th/18th Royal Hussars

Would 1950s QC 13th/18th Royal Hussars cap badge be anodised or did they wear brass QC for a spell?

They had a nice gilding metal cap badge upon the change of crown.

A family friend served with the 13th/18th in Malaya when he did his National Service. I remember he had a coloured field service cap with a queen's crown metal badge. And he gave me a q/c metal cap badge for my collection.
