Medal with crown
 

Hello guys, my neighbour came to me this afternoon with this medal.
He told me he found it in a pile of shells coming out of the sea some 20 or 30 years ago.
I have been searching the whole evening but with no succes.
I even have no clue if its civil or military.

Doesn't look military to me.
The kind of thing you would receive for winning something, the area in the centre to be engraved. Maybe, depending on size, to be hung from a pocket watch chain.

I agree, I think it may be missing a ring with a ribbon to go over your head as a place prize.
