Are you sure this is Iraqi? I have been right through two books on Iraqi Militaria written by Robert Missling. They are identification guides with translations and the badge does not show up. I asked him if he had ever seen the badge and he had not. In fact he said "it is a strange looking badge. If it is a badge it looks like the hole should be up where the eagle is. Is there a pin on the back and if there is, something may have been attached to the bottom". Could it be a UAR badge of some sort?
