Old vs New Technology - A Great Photo

Hi Gents,

I was lucky enough to grab this great image. The details aren't too clear but my reason for loving this photograph is that it's a snap-shot when (in the Great War) old technology (horses) transitioned to new technology, i.e. motorized transport. In this case motor cycles.

I don't recognize the cap badge, any thoughts?

Cheers,

Roy

Possibly Lincolnshire Yeomanry?

Definitely Lincolnshire Yeomanry.

In those days, my money would be on the horses.

Thanks Gents,

Appreciate the prompt and informative identification.

I wonder what these chaps were thinking as they stood side by side with the latest technology.

Cheers,

Roy

I don't know about the men but the horses have that look that says "I dunno what they are but if they start anything they'll get a bleedin' good kicking".:D
