Coppercliff Highlanders Cap Badge
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have any good pics of the Coppercliff Highlanders cap badges? I have just purchased one and want to compare it to some others. I'll post it on here when I get some decent pictures. Many thanks in advance, Bill :) |
Which pattern Bill? There are at least 3 distinct varieties.

Thanks Jo. There are wm versions of the last pattern glengarry badge shown on the army cadet site.

Great site guys, thanks.
It's the non-void version I've got. Do you know roughly when they were worn? Bill |

Thanks for the info guys.
Phillip, what is Migorys? Regards, Bill |
The Migory's are two brothers and a sister who are dealers in canadian badges and insignias. They have been in business for the longest time, at least I remember them from the early 1980s and even then they were already known in colectors circles. The legend has it that at one point sometime in the 1970s, they bought surplus canadian KC and QC badges by the barrel...so that's why they still sell those today........And they are still in business in Toronto.

Hi Jo,
That could explain why some badges are coming onto the market from that area. I've got a load of new Canadian items recently so will post them in my Canadian album soon, including some nice CEF sweetheart broaches. Thanks again, Bill |
The Migory's father started the business back in the 1960's. They were able to access lots of surplus at one time, but that has dried up. They still do shows but are not as active.
It certainly isn't the Migory's who are pumping Cdn badges into the internet; they don't have an ebay presence or even a dealer web page that I can find. |
Thanks Bill for the update about the Mogorys.....haven't been to the Toronto shows in years where I used to see them.

Of note, the Migorys were huge supporters of The Military Collectors Club of Canada. I still see them at the shows, and they are always good to deal with. I might still have one of their lists squirreled away. Phil |
