SOME OFFICERS HOME SERVICE HELMET PLATES
 

Hello fellow forum members,

As some of you may already know, I am first and for most a dragoon helmet collector, my collection can be seen here in my album on the "Forum." A couple of weeks ago I decided it would be nice to add one or two or several examples of headdress worn by other arms of service, i.e. Infantry and corps home service helmets, hussar Busby's et cetra to my collection. I purchased my first officers home service helmet and then in rapid succession I also acquired a number of officers home service helmets plates (these are addictive!) ... they all arrived on Monday! I have posted them here for your consideration...

... THANK YOU!!! I appreciate you taking a look at my fledgling collection of officers home service helmet plates... I think the vast array of helmet plates worn by Queen Victoria's army will lend itself to fabulous collection!!

... THANK YOU!!!... just getting started in this area of collecting that I think will be a nice complement to my collection of dragoon helmets. I am looking forward to adding to and building on these initial plates in the collection!
