Badge on passage between Fort Haldemand & Yeo Hall at RMC
 

I'm curious which badge is on the limestone carving on this photo of the c 1930s passage connecting fort Haldemand and Yeo Hall at the Royal Military College of Canada? It is not quite clear enough for me to identify. Victoria Edwards

My guess is this is what is there. If you can get a high-res. picture of this, it would help fill in the details. I see a sword held by a fist (probably mailed) over the centre shield which most likely has the Union Jack inset. Upper left and upper right look like two fusiliers badges, and the upper left appears to be "2". Lower left has a scaling ladder, but the rest of the detail eludes me. Lower right is probably a musket -- or a giant gravy ladle :p

Further to this, upper left could be 7th Regiment of Foot (Royal Fusiliers), and not a '2' as I guessed. Appears they were at Ft. Haldimand and according to Wikipedia,

"The Royal Fusiliers played an active part in saving Canada from invasion by the army of the American Continental Congress during the autumn of 1775[4] and winter of 1776. Later, the regiment was sent to New York and participated in the occupation of Philadelphia, the Battle of Monmouth (1778), Tryon's raid (1779); the capture of Charleston (1779), and the southern campaigns under the command of General Cornwallis."

I appreciate your drawing on the photo of the arms on the passage between Fort Haldimand and Yeo Hall at the Royal Military College of Canada in yellow. I now see (I think) the elements of the arms of the Royal Military College of Canada. Would you mind revisingthe yellow overlay following the attached images as a guideline?

I have attached an image of the RMC arms on the memorial arch and on a plaque at St George's Cathedral in Kingston.

Masonry restoration @ RMC
 

According to their website, Santin Masonry completed an extensive masonry restoration program at RMC. I note the College Coat of Arms on the exterior wall facing. Portions of the exterior wall facing were in danger of falling and thus represented a potential Public safety hazard. Repairs to the masonry consisted of repointing all masonry joints and repairs/replacement of deteriorated stone units.
