Whilst on the subject...I have two buttons which I can't identify...had them for years!

QVC with B.T under in gilding metal
Meker: Firmin & Sons Ltd St Martins Lane London

25mm domed.

Any ideas?

(I know that British Telecom weren't around in the day!)

It's a British Government organisation that officially adopted the name by an act of 1861.
