Mystery copper star with letters

OK, open to speculation again is this star with central letters and frequently used motto of "Action, not words". Any ideas boys? It was obtained in Canada. It's got no lugs to the rear, nor has it had.

Thanks,

Monkey VC.

Cap badge

I think it may be Canadian Women’s Transport corps

Who were they?

I could see something like that. I know there were oddball organizations that were folded when the CWAC came about. I saw a uniform for a Women's army corps from Windsor Ontario or some such place in a fellow's museum once. Perhaps this was something like that?

The lettering font looks very art decoish to me which comes from the 1910 era of course.

I’ve seen this badge come up for sale on eBay before, attributed to a Women’s transport organization. does anyone know if brooker has it listed?
