Any thoughts on the badge at the bottom ?
Not sure if it is a real period badge.

Hello Lavd02, Nothing wrong with those badges. The 10th Reserve Bn acquired badges in 1917 with the Roman numeral X. To date there is no record of copies of the badge being made.

It's the colour on the bottom one that baffles me.
It seems freshly painted.
Never seen another one that colour.

Brown enamel finish, while not common, is found on many CEF badges. As an enamel it does not show age like some other finishes.
