Scottish Field Hospital?

Can anyone identify this one please? I have in mind that it might be a Scottish Field Hospital during the Gulf War.
Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation. |
Hello Badger44,
Have the identical badge. List it in my data base as; ROYAL SCOTS DRAGOON GUARDS, DESERT DPM, DESERT SHIELD/STORM, 1990 (Operation GRANBY). Hope that is of assistance. Arnhemjim Arizona Territory |
Did you both obtain it from the regiment ?????? See my post and reply on the Yorkshire regiment
David |
They were made, for the Regiment by Lancashire Embroidery.
Lancashire Embroidery would always make ‘overruns’ which they would then sell onto dealers and collectors. |
many thanks same as the one in my collection
Crest -insignia I was directed to Lancashire Embroidery by the R H Q of the S N I Y for rank slides as this is where the regiment obtains them from as private purchase Do you know if they manufacture any other items for the regiment David |
Many thanks for the identification, Arnhem Jim. I was way off in thinking it was a Field Hospital. I assume they were part of 4 Arm'd Bde, hence the rat.
I didn't get it off the Regiment 49lassiepen, but can't remember where I had it from. I searched for, but couldn't find, your post on the Yorkshire Regt, so don't know what that was about. Sorry. |

My apologies also for confusing the rats of 4th and 7th Armoured. I stand corrected. Thanks to all of you for your help. |
