NZ Base Head Quarters Patch

Hello all
I'm not sure if I have put this up before, so apologies if I have.
Does anyone have an idea as to what it is? Blazer patch, uniform patch, sports?; and what the significance to '1954-55' may be
Measures about 105mm x 100mm.

There was a New Zealand Base HQ in Korea up until at least 1954, so it may be related to that unit, possibly they disbanded in NZ in 1955.
My guess it is a blazer patch.
