New and looking through old family badges
1 Attachment(s)
I found:
- Duke of Wellington's Regiment in two versions - one for each battalion. Certainly my great uncle was in the 2nd Battalion on Western Front, Macedonia and post WW1, Ireland where he was killed. - KSLI - not so sure to which relative these belonged to but one side of the family came from Shropshire, so it is perfectly logical to have these. - Some Home Guard shoulder flashes (my father) and some unused sergent's stripes (a level to which I don't think he reached) - various Somerset Light Infantry - logical as I was brought up in Taunton But I don't recognise this:- |

Thank you for the identification.
Re: Duke of Wellington's Regiment, if the cap badge remained the same, http://www.dwr.org.uk/wp-content/upl...-Badge-RLH.jpg refering to http://www.dwr.org.uk/wp-content/upl...-Badge-RLH.jpg |
As you referred to the Great War I assumed you meant the cap badges worn during that period.
