I have a white metal Gloster back badge which I can find no reference to in K&K, does anyone know if it's a variation or a Dud.

This white metal Gloster back badge is either a fake or a rarity, are there any Gloster specialists on the forum?

I think the RGBW Reg wore the WM back badge.

They wore a gold one. The Rifles now wear silver ones.

I have a Gloster's officer's OSD cap or beret badged as Wessex Brigade era, it has a white metal back badge. I'll dig it out and check whether it appears to be white metal or plated.

The back badge I'm thinking of has tangs rather than lugs (I thought I had one with lugs mounted on officer's headgea) it's not as "silver" looking as some of the photos make it appear.
It's a dull white metal colour but may be plated, hard to tell.
