You may have this already - this copy in USA I think

http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/Book...act&ref=imprad

I think the author has done other similar books

Not as comprehensive as your area of search but some illustrations may be of interest

I do have that, along with multiple other books on the subject ranging from wartime books through the modern ones. I am lacking original wartime dress regulation publications/manuals for each group and am always in the market for them. Right now I'm mainly looking for original photos to buy. I have several hundred already, but am always keen to find new ones, especially if the more obscure organizations.

Hello Jeff,

May I ask if you are still in the market?

Regards,

JT

I am still in the market, JT. Sorry for the delay. I just spotted your reply as I haven't logged on for a good while.

Not exactly what you are looking for but three items related to my late and lamented friend Elsa Laverick - a cartoon done of her when working in a military hospital in India late 1945 (as Lt. QAIMNS), Elsa when her husband was serving in Malaya during the Emergency and the inside of her Indian-made BD blouse (which she very kindly gave me some years ago). Her husband was CIH throughout World War 2 and post 1947 and Indian Independence, RA and then RAOC. Mike

I appreciate the offer, but a bit outside my scope at present. Thank you all the same for sharing though.

I wasn't offering anything apart from a bit of background information!

Is this more to your liking - Cpl (later Sgt) Early ATS attached to(and "breasted") Int Corps. She worked at Bletchley Park - when found her tunic had the unused half of a 3rd Class rail ticket from London in left breast pocket.
