While clearing out my stuff I found my old RHKP probationary inspector slip-on shoulder patches from 1980. Still in great condition. Inspectors had two pips, and senior inspectors had two pips and a bar.

Nice, thanks for this.

A question for you, are all slip-ons like this one the same coloured embroidery, it appears brown on the greenish khaki. Some I have seen are black on khaki. Is this just an error or standard?

Hi Clay,

The embroidery on mine is dark green, and mine were issued in 1980.
I do not remember seeing any black embroidery but I may be wrong and I am
sure some of my ex-colleagues (who are members on here) will correct me if I
am wrong.
