Here's another piece with suffragette colours. Perhaps the grill represents prison bars? Colours faded on this example.

The agathos daimon entwined into a heart shape protecting the red forget-me-nots. A symbol adopted by the Armenian diaspora to remember the massacres by the Ottoman Empire during WW1.
Not marked but propably made in Paris 1920s.

Alli, speaking of Persian peacocks this is a photo of the Nadiri peacock throne Gulestan Palace Tehran Nov 1943 taken by my father on his box brownie whilst he was guarding the palace against agitators whipped up by the Russian troops prior to the conference. Sheets of gold and 26.733 jewels.

Wow on all counts there Ron, fascinating about your father and that throne is something else!
I'm really enjoying seeing your collection, I have a few Art Nouveau bits and pieces but mainly art. Prints I should add.

Made a point of showing the items to my 'Long Haired Sergeant Major' ... she's positively drooling over them! :p

The delicate beauty and sweet disposition of blue hibiscus supported by the fidelity of the ivy encased by the red border of passion.
Of course you can always write your own description.
