Australian Army Divers?

Hi, can anyone inform me whether the Australian Army wear any diver specialisation insignia, I know the RAN Clearance Divers have some Special Forces function and work with the SAS, but do the Commando regiments have a diving capability? and if so do they have a diver qualification badge?

Do the Australian Army have Engineer or logistic corps divers in the same way as the British Army Royal Engineers and Royal Logistics Corps have diver trained soldiers? is there likewise a Diver trade qualification badge?

Searching the internet I've come across the term Army Work Divers within the Australian Defence Force but been unable to find anything about them, anyone know anything?

All answers gratefully received, images even better!

Regards

Tony

No diver insignia is worn in the Australian Army. As far as I know, in the ADF, only the RAN has diving insignia (Clearance Divers).

As far as I know, only the Special Forces would do diving as part of their training (SASR does but not sure about Commandos though) in the Army.

The RAE had divers in the late 60's when I was in, worked with army divers at Canungra in the late 70's but don't know what corps. I believe the Combat Engineer Regiments had dive teams in the early 2000's not sure about now though. Can't remember seeing any specialist badge for them.

There has never been any official specialist divers badge in the Australian Army's history.
