Thought this may be of interest. Many brave ARP volunteers lost their lives and were injured in the air attacks in Britain during WW2, helping fellow citizens through those dark days.

Very nice.

My grandfather was a member of the Hong Kong Police during WW2 and was wounded by Japanese artillery whilst performing ARP duties during the battle.

Hence why I always appreciate ARP badges and insignia.
