1st Allied Airborne Patch

Which arm did the British wear the Allied Airborne Patch? Canadians left arm, Americans right arm, British?????. Does any one know of any exceptions for the Canadians wearing them on the left arm?

On the very limited evidence that I have access to: British (ATS attached R Sinals in this case) on the left (but it would have been very unusual for British Army to have worn a single formation sign on temperate uniform).

Since it is the Allied Airborne sign that is in question, it would be under British practices / policy. 1 Cdn Para Bn was under the dress policy of 6 Airborne Division.
