hello all

I have been slowly cataloging my NZ badges onto cards then I can store them in a better way. The cards fit perfectly into postcard boxes so I can split them between reinforcements, mounted rifles, Infantry, corps, and cloth

I just wanted to share some of them, and trying to locate numbers is still a major challenge

I have split my cards into full sets and sets with shoulder badges and when possible with number

Cataloging badges

You look like you have made a good job of sorting your badges, the annoying although at the same time happy event occurs when a different variant turns up and you have to fit it into the system.

Hi Caz,
I agree with Rob. You have made a great start, I have viewed your NZ album.
Cheers,
John

Hi both

thanks for your feedback

I have only been collecting NZ badges for about 18 months and sold off all my British badges

Been an ex-pat kiwi I have now started to concentrate some of my efforts more towards NZ badges and medals and have managed to obtain about 300 NZ badges and about 50 NZ medals (WW1 and Korea).

I have managed reinforcements from the 8th through to 33rd (apart from the 32nd - if anyone has one for sale please let me know or any from the 1st - 7th) which I find a great area to collect due to the uniqueness of them as well as the designs.

I agree with you Rob that I am now finding variations on NZ badges which I find a great addition

regards

Caz
