formation patch?
 

Recently got hold of a large amount of REME shoulder patches and others. Among them was two formation patches I don’t recognise, any chance of some info on it?

It’s the two blue diamonds with the apple on, ill get a better photo later in the morning.

Any idea on what units would of come under the Northern command?

There were a large number of units that served under Northern Command, infact too many to mention.
I would suggest that you try and get hold of a copy of Lt- Col H F Joslen's Orders of Battle Second World War 1939-1945 and work through the divisions and brigades that served under the that command.
