The Royal Malta Fencibles Pensioners Company

1 Attachment(s)
The Royal Malta Fencibles Pensioners Company was formed in 1854. This Company was formed from pensioners of The Royal Malta Fencible Regiment and enlisted for seven years, which by the end of this period 1861, the Company disbanded. So quite a short-lived regiment.

Much is know regarding the badges of previous and later regiments, however this is not the case for the Pensioners (or maybe it's just me!!)

Their cap badge consisted of a "yellow coloured Victorian Crown". No mention of size, type of Victorian Crown (maybe the service years could be of a hint) or badge attachment! Could anyone be so kind as to be more specific, as wherever I look, I just keep coming to the same meagre description!!

Attached is an drawing of the Pensioners headwear.

Looking forward for your opinions.
